In June, NILAG was pleased to present Julie Lillo. https://www.facebook.com/julie.lillo
Julie is a local area
quilter that kept us busy with her "top 40 Freehand Overalls" We
spent a beautiful June morning, drawing swirls,
pebbles, and branching designs.
The Skill Builder for June was feathers around applique.
And of course there was plenty of show and tell
Quilter's Rule at NILAG
The April 2015 meeting brought us
Patricia Simons from Quilters Rule http://www.quiltersrule.com/
Patricia gave a hands-on drawing demo
using longarm templates and rulers. We
learned how to use simple shapes to create a large number of quilting designs. Some of what Patricia covered can be seen on
her YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/QuiltersRuleIntl
